For those of the midwest persuasion, you will know about the Scots Dragon dress shop. Lady Joanna does a wonderful job at making WEARABLE clothes, not just a 1 day costume. She uses heavy material that lasts a long time but its still feminine with ribbons on the front. They are either a washable or cheap dry clean. Mine is a RICH gold and olive green size 10 dress. I had the sleeves removable for coolness. and just to let you know, I gained a bit a weight after buying it and so I must sell!  The price of the dresses went up a great deal after I bought mine, well worth the price of $220 plus shipping or best offer... I only wore it 2-3 years with a short season on each.

There is metal boning, pearls in the ribbon twists, and a small design over all... plus removable sleeves.
